North Lancs Training Group (NLTG), is calling for school leavers in across Hyndburn and East Lancashire to apply for a number of fantastic opportunities as they look to take that next step on their career journeys.
With more than 50 years of experience delivering Apprenticeships, NLTG provide opportunities in a wide variety of occupations and industries including IT and Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Furniture Occupations, Catering, Hospitality, Glass Occupations, Customer Service, Warehousing and Logistics, General Manufacturing, Sewing and Upholstery.
NLTG currently have over 200 live Apprenticeship vacancies, offering Apprentice job roles such as Digital Development Manager, Business Support Assistant, Estate Agent Sales Negotiator, Warehouse Operative, Trainee Chef, Sewing Machinist, plus many more.
Apprenticeships offer the perfect opportunity to start out and progress in a company, gaining real life work experience and a qualification, all while earning a salary.
For those that are not quite ready for an Apprenticeship, NLTG also offer Traineeships in the workplace, designed to give young people aged 16 to 18 the confidence to become work ready and take that first step to their perfect career. Offering a high-quality work placement for eight weeks, workplace Traineeships also offer a weekly bursary of up to £80 and include an Employability Skills qualification, plus maths and English for those without GCSEs at Grades 4 to 9.
NLTG’s Study Programme courses offer another option for young people. Combining work experience with small classes delivered at their Accrington Centre, they provide those aged 16 to 18 with the chance to gain valuable skills, preparing them for the workplace, further study or an Apprenticeship. Learners will receive a weekly bursary of up to £45, free breakfast and lunch, support with maths and English for those who don’t have GCSEs at Grades 9 to 4, as well as the opportunity to gain an Employability Skills qualification.
