Accrington and Rossendale College is busily transforming its campus into a fun summer extravaganza for the highly anticipated annual Community Fun Day.

Taking place on Saturday, June 24th, from 10am to 2pm, organisers of the event promise a day filled with delightful activities and entertainment suitable for the entire family.

Attendees can immerse themselves in arts and crafts, enjoy face painting, and explore a beach sand pit and a virtual reality hub. The event will also feature sports and games for friendly competition, while a variety of food stalls and local traders will contribute to the festive atmosphere. Organisers hope that the day of shared enjoyment will bring the community closer together whilst providing an excellent day out for families.

In addition to the exciting lineup, attendees can indulge a delectable selection of food, including a BBQ, hot food stalls, and an ice cream van. A treasure hunt and an array of other activities will also be available, along with horticulture and wellbeing experiences. Fairground games and stalls, including an old-time flying chairs ride, will also add to the fun.

“We are delighted to host our annual Community Fun Day, providing families with a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together and celebrate our vibrant community,” said Megan Stott, the event coordinator. “With a diverse range of activities and attractions available, there is something for everyone to enjoy!”
