The Amazing Accrington™ Futures Event is designed to promote education, careers and training opportunities to all Year 11s in Hyndburn.
Much more than a jobs fair, it will inspire young people to take up career paths with companies such as Studio Retail Ltd; aerospace and health sectors will be represented, plus a plethora of businesses, higher education and training providers.
There will be opportunities to discuss digital skills and cyber security opportunities. It’s a one stop shop to show and inspire the next generation of Amazing Accrington.
This private event will bring together over 1000 young people from 6 local schools, on Thursday 14th October between 9-3.30, at Accrington Town Hall.
